A ground-breaking opportunity

Would you like to be one of the first Early Childhood Educators in British Columbia to participate in a FULLY-FUNDED professional development pilot that aims to teach ECEs new skills resulting in a NeuroInclusive preschool learning environment… benefitting you, your 3-6 year olds and their families?

  • WHY...AND WHAT does NeuroInclusive mean? Did you know that current strategies are not designed to reach all learners? Maybe you noticed some of your very bright, curious, creative children do not always respond to current practices. NeuroInclusive strategies ensure that all children have a cognitive equal opportunity...literally from day one.

  • STRATEGIES: We often say focus, concentrate, pay attention, but no-one ever shows us how. Would you like your children to learn how to relax, focus and manage their own energy levels? Can you imagine how much easier classroom management would be? You will be able to introduce hands-on letter recognition to your children whatever their learning style.

  • COLLABORATION: Thanks to the Ministry of Education and Child Care and BC Campus, we, at The Whole Dyslexic Society, have the opportunity of sharing this innovative, inspiring, enlightening and essential information with you...for FREE! This is a precursor to eliminating many so-called learning disabilities from ever arising! Let’s do this!

Course Overview

The course will run from October 2023 - FEBRUARY, 2024 with a few spots still available!

  • Online Information Session

    We invite you to watch our recorded information session which will tell you all you need to know about the structure of the course.

  • A Personal Interview

    Having watched the Information Session we invite you to a personal interview on Zoom as we have limited spaces to offer for this fully funded pilot.

  • 2 - 1hr Introductory Modules

    These will be live and recorded. The first on NOVEMBER 4, is a comprehensive introduction to learning styles and the cause of many learning challenges; the second on NOVEMBER 14 outlines the history and development of the Workshop content.

  • One 2-Day Workshop Online OR In-Person

    The Online Workshop is NOVEMBER 20/21 via Zoom and the In-Person Workshop is NOVEMBER 23/24 (venue tbc) in the Victoria area, Vancouver Island. Neither will be recorded. You will learn self-regulation tools, and hands-on skills to pass onto all your students, no matter their learning style.

  • 2 - 1hr Reflective Modules

    As you pass on the tools and skills to your students we aim to support you with live and recorded discussions DECEMBER 9, and FEBRUARY 3, 2024. You will have questions and we will be there to answer them. We will also ask you for evaluations.

  • Free Information Session for Your Parents

    It is important for the parents of your students to understand this approach and the new skills to ensure they have the opportunity to continue the self-regulation at home. Sessions will be live and recorded, NOVEMBER 25 and we will seek their feedback at the end of JANUARY 27, 2024.
